Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Sports Hopping mobile app and this website, operated by Pipefin AB (Sweden). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.
The service
Sports Hopping helps you discover sports venues, see upcoming fixtures, log the games you go to, and keep track of the grounds you've visited. The app is free: no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials to yourself.
- You're responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time — email sporthopping@proton.me and we will delete it. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
What you can add
Depending on your account, you can add a photo of a venue, suggest a club name while logging a game, correct a venue’s details, record a visit with a private note, and set a display name. Photo uploads are limited to approved contributors and are checked by a person before they appear.
Rules for what you add
- Only upload a photo you took yourself, or one you clearly have the right to share.
- Nothing offensive, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, or otherwise illegal.
- No advertising, spam, or other people's personal details.
- No copyrighted material you don't own — including press photos, screenshots, and club crests.
- Suggested club names must be real club names, not jokes or messages.
- Don't misuse the service: no scraping at scale, no attempts to disrupt it or to gain unauthorised access, no illegal use.
- Don’t misrepresent attendance in ways designed to abuse badges.
The rights you give us
You keep ownership of everything you contribute. By adding a photo, a club name or other content, you give Pipefin AB a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, resize and distribute it within Sports Hopping and its store listings, for as long as we run the service. You confirm you have the right to give that licence. You can ask us to remove your content at any time.
Review, removal, and suspension
We can remove or hide anything contributed to the app, and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules — normally after a warning, immediately when the content is illegal or harmful. We’ll tell you why when we can.
Reporting content
If you see something that should not be there — an offensive club name, a photo that breaks these rules, or content that infringes your copyright — tap Report on the club name or photo in the app, or email sporthopping@proton.me and tell us what you saw and where. We aim to look at every report within 24 hours.
Fixture and venue information
Fixture, club and venue information is compiled from public sources and from our data providers, and is offered for personal, informational use. Schedules change, kick-off times move, and games are called off — we don’t guarantee accuracy or completeness. Always check with the venue or club before travelling.
Beta software
The app is under active development and may be offered through beta channels (TestFlight, Play internal testing). Features may change, break, or be removed, and data created during beta periods may be reset if technically necessary — we'll avoid that where we can.
Intellectual property
The app, website, and their content (excluding your own data) belong to Pipefin AB or its licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app. Fixture and club data, including club crests, is provided by TheSportsDB and Highlightly and used under licence. Club and venue names and crests belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Pipefin AB is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are handled by Swedish courts, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or on this page, with the effective date updated above.
